Cinema Diverse! The Palm Springs Gay and Lesbian Film Festival

Cinema Diverse 2014 wrapped up its record breaking seventh edition in September of 2014, but the film festival referred to by one writer as "the Academy Awards of Gay Movies" is not slowing down any time soon.

"We're already planning a number of activities for the balance of the year, and for 2015," said Festival Director Michael C. Green. "We've just seen the opening of PRIDE from CBS Films at the Camelot Theatres, as well as the theatrical opening of LILTING, and we're going to host the opening of the theatrical run for DER KREISS (THE CIRCLE) at the Camelot Theatres on November 14th. We're particularly excited to have the director, Stefan Haupt, and the central subjects, Ernst and Robi, flying in from Switzerland to join us for Live Q&A sessions the weekend of Nov 14-16."

"We're also busy planning our two 2015 Cinema Diverse at Sea cruises," Green continued. "The first is our Spring Cruise to Mexico with Holland America. It's a seven night cruise, leaving on March 14th and returning on March 21st." You can see more about the cruise at http://next-vacations.com/HAL_14Mar2015W.html.

"Our second cruise is one I am particularly excited about." It's an Alaska cruise  that runs from August 28th through September 4th. There's more information on that cruise at http://next-vacations.com/CEL_28Aug2015.html

We are also looking at starting a monthly Cinema Diverse screening in 2015. Look for more information on that later!
