POWER UP announces the Screening in Palm Springs of Angela (True Blood, Hung, L word writer/producer) Robinson's musical comedy, GIRLTRASH: All Night Long feature film.
On Thursday, October 24, 2013, POWER UP will be hosting a screening, after party and fundraiser for their latest lesbian film with the intent of raising funds to help with their new production to be filmed in Palm Springs, CA in 2014.
Based on Angela Robinson's extremely successful Web series sponsored by Showtime, GIRLTRASH: All Night Long, the feature stars Lisa Rieffel, Michelle Lombardo (Quarterlife), Gabrielle Christian and Mandy Musgrave
(South of Nowhere), Rose Rollins, Malaya Rivera Drew,
Kate French and Clementine Ford (L word), and Megan Cavanagh (A League of Their Own).
The film was directed by first time feature director Alex Kondracke, and executive produced by Stacy Codikow (D.E.B.S., Itty Bitty Titty Committee) a recent Palm Springs transplant, produced by Lisa Thrasher (Itty Bitty Titty Committee) and Angela Robinson (L word, True Blood, Hung) and made through POWER UP's Filmmaking Mentorship Program.

POWER UP's first feature film ITTY BITTY TITTY COMMITTEE directed by Jamie Babbit had it's world premiere at the Berlin Film Festival and was the winner of 2007's South by Southwest Best Narrative Feature Jury Award, and had proven popular at the box-office as well taking in $11,505 in its opening weekend at Laemmle Sunset 5 in West Hollywood, California. The film had already broken Laemmle's pre-sale record of all time according to Laemmle sources. This is the highest grossing
GLBT film opening, on a per screen average in 2007 according to Box Office Mojo and fourth highest grossing film in the Country, on a per screen average for opening weekend, Rentrak Theatrical reported.
